Background:
In November 2020, Group Medical Services partnered with Morneau Shepell to offer LifeWorks Total Wellbeing Program to all Personal Health plans (now Telus Health). The goal was to promote this free value-added differentiator to their clients to educate them on what LifeWorks has to offer, promote the “easy access” and increase registrations and utilization rates.

Solution:
A series of email campaigns were strategically developed to promote LifeWorks to clients.

  • The Meet LifeWorks journey included a welcome/onboarding email for new clients, two sign-up reminder emails and a perks and savings feature email. This was sent to all existing clients and all new clients on an ongoing basis. I supported with the strategic planning and writing of this series of emails.
  • The LifeWorks Newsletter offering wellness tips, links to wellness articles, and promotion of LifeWorks perks and services was sent out monthly to all clients. I supported with the editorial planning, feature article selection and writing of this newsletter for 2+ years.
  • A series of LifeWorks contest and seasonal perks promotions were sent throughout the year including: Father’s Day, the holidays, Watch Your Wellness & Win and more.

Results:
Overall, these emails had the desired impact. After launching the first Meet LifeWorks email (in March 2021), signups doubled from the previous month.
